  • Adhere to General Work Requirements
  • Complete and/or provide input for personnel functions which may vary by site, for example, time cards, 30/60/90 day reviews and PMP/PDP evaluations, assist in interview and selection process, and disciplinary actions
  • Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate workload, overtime, and make job assignments for employees in assigned area
  • Provide training and mentoring for employees in assigned area to promote acquisition of technical proficiency
  • Monitor day-to-day activities, projects, and levels of customer service (e.g., performance metrics) for assigned area and report status, issues, and risks to immediate supervisor on a scheduled basis
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to assigned employees in troubleshooting problems for assigned area(s)
  • Oversee employee activities and document as required using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Maintenance Manuals (MM), Sheetmetal Repair Manuals (SRMs), Service Bulletin (SBs), scripts and tally books
  • Schedule and conduct crew meetings
  • Complete paperwork per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Maintenance Manuals
  • Coordinate with planning and supervisor to ensure complete and accurate planning is provided; provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate aircraft discrepancies and work assignments through communication with customers, interdepartmental contacts and vendors as necessary
  • Coordinate work flow with crew and interdepartmental contacts in conjunction with Project Supervisor
  • Complete verbal and written turnover indicating status of work progress
  • Provide input and/or complete incident/accident reports as necessary
  • Monitor and ensure accurate data collection by assigned personnel
  • Monitor budget versus billed using variance report
  • Perform responsibilities of supervisor as assigned
  • Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures included but not limited to Safety Manual Section 1225
  • Estimate man-hours and prepare time estimates as required by assigned area(s)
  • Complete and close-out all appropriate documentation prior to turnover to QA / QC for final release of aircraft as appropriate for assigned area(s)
