| Major Duties and Responsibilities: |
- Management
- Responsible for the long term financial viability of the dealership.
- Balance the demands employees, suppliers, customers, owners, and community.
- Provide personal direction and coordination over all phases of the dealership operation.
- Establish operating policies & procedures for entire dealership.
- Approve all major departmental expenditures.
- Develop monthly and annual objectives for the dealership in collaboration with departmental Managers.
- Ensure departments maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives.
- Analyze and determine the nature and size of the market for motorcycles, other merchandise, and service.
- Develop long-range plans, objectives, and budgets designed to achieve an increasing share of market sales and profits.
- Secure adequate capital investment and facilities to maintain a competitive organization.
- Maintain records, controls and request reports from subordinates, as needed. to evaluate dealership performance.
- Make changes to the operating plan and related budgets, when necessary.
- Attend training sessions to keep current with all issues of dealership
- Customer Service
- Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”.
- Assist managers and supervisors, when needed.

| Supervisory Responsibilities: |
- Set or approve compensation levels for all employees of the dealership.
- Train managers and supervisors to lead their people.
- Set policies and procedures for dealership.
- Evaluate coach and council direct reports.
- Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and firing employees.
- Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports.
- Review all performance reviews to ensure consistency across departments.
- Provide training for all managers and supervisors (seminars; workshops; sales schools, etc.)
- Delegate responsibility to managers and supervisors as needed.
- Manage conflicts between individuals and departments of the dealership.

| Qualifications & Job Requirements: |
- Seven years progressive executive management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, manage, and retain quality people.
- Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and management aspects of a 1-10 million dollar business.
- Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.

- Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
