Summary Description:
  • Handles cash and credit card transactions for Service, P&A, and General Merchandise departments in a prompt and courteous manner with all customers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Administration
    • Ensures all charges are correct and checks addition on all service orders and receipts before accepting cash.
    • Processes all paperwork and maintains organization of all logs and files.
    • Receive payments for products and services rendered. Authorizes all credit card and check payments. Returns receipt and change to customer.
    • Initiate & maintain all related paperwork.
    • Maintain Inventory logs for parts sold.
    • Maintain customer logs and service records.
    • Maintain accurate warranty records. Ensure prompt receipt of warranty money due.
    • Assist bookkeeper or other administrative assistants, as required.
  2. Customer Service
    • Provides prompt and accurate service on the cash register.
    • Greet internal and external customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
    • Handle transactions quickly, and courteously.
  3. Other Duties

Physical Demands:
  • Finger and hand dexterity is required to operate a cash register, and handle cash.
  • Occasionally required to lift 40 lb. of material.
Working Conditions:
  • Usually indoors, however some outdoor work is required when events are scheduled.
